Dyrk Godby is an Idaho cowboy, western artist and a singer/songwriter.
Dyrk was raised on working horse ranches in Idaho, Oregon and Nevada, blessing him with a love and respect for quality equine stock. His connection with horses and the western lifestyle has flavored every aspect of his life, and is brilliantly expressed in his art. Dyrk's paintings are detailed -- highlighting the beauty and grace of horses. His music is insightful, reflecting the lifestyle and culture of the American cowboy.

Dyrk is the American Paint Horse Association 2006 Artist of the Year, with the painting, "New Beginnings" of a mare and colt. His paintings have won numerous Best of Show and People's Choice Awards across the west. Dyrk's work has graced the covers of the finest equine and western publications.

He has produced and published 18 signed/numbered, limited edition prints over the past 30 years. A number of these prints are sold-out editions, found now only on a secondary market.

Dyrk has recorded two albums. He has written, recorded, and performed songs with Brooke Shields and appeared in concert with Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He has performed in Seoul, Korea's Olympic Stadium and for the troops on Korea's north/south DMZ line.

He performed a song he wrote -- Fly Without Wings -- for the opening ceremonies of the final go-round at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV. He now performs at various venues mostly in the northwest with a band called "Quarter Horse."

Hamley's Western Art Show, Pendleton, OR; Happy Canyon Western Art Show, Pendleton, OR; Western Art Show and Auction, Ellensburg, WA; and the Sesquicentennial One-man Show for the 150th Anniversary of the Oregon Trail at Jim and Carmela Martell's Vineyard, (known as Carmela's Vineyard), Idaho.
